With customers worldwide, Alfdex offers crankcase ventilation for heavy diesel vehicles and diesel engines. Since their start in 2002, they have offered their customers complete solutions, as well as aftermarket sales.
As the annual sales of spare parts increased from 5,500 to 75,000, Alfdex saw a need to review its production line to investigate improvement opportunities.
As the positive growth would entail two to three people more in the packaging process, they began to look at different options. This is when they found our solution.
Our collaboration with Alfdex has been ongoing since 2007, when the company started buying labels from us. When they needed to find a new solution within their production, they started looking for a supplier that could offer simplicity with a locally anchored service.
After arranging a reference visit for them, they had a positive impression about the opportunity to influence the solution according to their own wishes.
The choice of Boxon was actually quite easy. There was a technical solution, there was proximity to service, and there was simplicity with the add-on part that we considered very important. We have been working with Boxon since I started here at Alfdex 17 years ago. We have always had a transparent solution, a good collaboration, and always completed the projects we started" says Tony Petersson, Property Manager at Alfdex AB in Landskrona.
The choice of solution was a case erector that helps Alfdex to optimise and expand their capacity. The machine can be operated by one person, which helps them to keep their costs down.
The case erector has been in operation since the beginning of the year, and Alfdex has already witnessed a number of advantages to the solution:
